PHOTOGRAPHERS & ARTISTS
Be sure to look at different photographers' work, and try arranging your meetings with them all in the same week. In this way you will have the detail of their work fresh in your memory. Compare the price and quality of work and then make your decision. You also have to be comfortable with the photographers that will be spending such a big part of the day with you. But remember: You are planning your wedding day, and not a photo shoot. Your photographers should document the happenings creatively, and tell the story of the day with spontaneous moments captured.
It is of utmost importance that the photographer and videographer understand each other and not get in each other's way, especially seeing that videographer’s often make use of tripods and big spot lights. As with choosing a photographer, it is essential to look critically at the videographer's work:
· The video must be edited. · The image must have the right contrast and the focus must be sharp. · The sound must be clear.
Artforce
Artforce is the brain child of Bertie Pennie, an renowned artist from The Glens of Antrim. His paintings cover themes as diverse as landscapes and motorsports.
Ideally suited to create stunning oil paintings of your Wedding portrait or simply those things you love and hold dear to your heart, Bertie has captured on canvas, family pets, portraits of loved ones and even brought to life those images of “wishful thinking”
In recent years he has held a number of exhibitions, among these, The Cafe Lamont Arts Centre, Ballymena Borough Council, Ballymoney Borough Council and Naughton Gallery, Queens University Belfast and a permanent exhibition at Imagos Gallery (Newry).
